ramblings of the coolest person you will ever know. kind of. sort of. not really.

daytime television

i tell you what, if there’s one thing i love it’s daytime television. you see that’s the beauty of tivo. i can work 50 hours a week and still have the television habits of a stay-at-home parent (see how i was politically correct and didn’t say stay-at-home mom?). this season of the ellen degeneres show is beyond hilarious. a new season of martha starts next week and the following week oprah returns. oh tivo, you let me live the good life. although i’m incredibly disappointed to have found out that the new series three tivo is going to cost upwards of $800. that’s just insane. i might have to just get a series 2 dual tuner tivo instead. although the new apple home theater solution is supposed to come out next week so if they could just beef up their itunes tv show offerings i could just give up cable completley and reinvest the saved money on itunes shows.

all the season premieres make this the best time of the year. people are always saying that tv’s going down the drain, but i think it’s just the horrible shows that drown out the amazing shows. there’s stuff like bones, grey’s anatomy, and project runway that just raise the bar of television altogether. there’s this show on scifi chiannel, eureka, which i can’t rave enough about. it’s scifi but not 100% nerdy scifi. great stuff.

okay enough tv talk. i tend to get carried away when i talk about anything media related. i can’t help it sometimes, it truly is my passion.

i’m giving myself a resourcefulness award for coming up with a solution for my squeaky door … i couldn’t take it anymore and i didn’t have any wd-40 so i just used baby oil. worked like a charm.

ugh, i need to sleep now.

gnight.
