no such luck

no, i haven’t fixed this site yet. and do you know why? because my computer is freaking broken. i’m on day five of this fiasco and i’m going insane. i haven’t been without a personal computer this long in about 10 years. i can’t stand it anymore. my computer is my life and i feel like someone is strangling me. i know this is dramatic but most people who know me realize that my computer is connected to me at the hip. i took it to the apple store to get an estimate to see how much it would cost to get fixed. $1400 for all the things that need to be replaced. the case is hands down the most expensive part of that, it’s crazy that a sheet of aluminum would cost so much (of course it’s the design you pay for, not the materials). hopefully i will hear back from my insurance company later this week and i’ll be well on my way to fixing mine, or at this cost just getting a new one.

i’ll write more when the separation anxiety that has been created from this loss has gone away.

in happier news … today is my 1 year anniversary at the agency. can’t believe it’s already been a year.
