Have I told you how I’m sad because not only do I not have an ipod anymore (have I told the story about how it was stolen a couple of weeks ago at work?!?), but now I also don’t have an iphone. I didn’t think I’d want one until a couple of days ago. So sad.

My new john deere hat
We had a celebration today to celebrate our new account and we got these fabulous hats from our agency’s newest client. Apparently these are actually a bit hard to get a hold of. Now all I need is the john deere mower. Oh and a lawn. One day.

This is too easy now! I am going to go crazy with posts now. For now I really need to get to bed as the sun is already rising. Erg, I hate the fact that the sun comes up abnormally early up here in the midwest.

hizzah!
after more than an hour of tinkering with lots of settings i finally got everything set up so that i can post directly from my blackberry. i even have it set up so that i can also post photos from the camera on my phone at the same time. the number of posts very well might get to be insane. my goal is to now be able to do some fun things and truly document my days in chicago. this actually might be fun. who knows, maybe the quality of posts might even improve. at the very least they will be a bit more interesting and much more visual. okay now i’ve wasted so much time on this tonight. time to get two hours of sleep so i can get up and rush off to work to make it to my early status meetings.

oh yeah
now that i think about it maybe i don’t have to take a forced indefinite break from making new posts. i totally forgot i just got a new blackberry and i should be able to still make mobile posts. i will give it a test and see if it still works. if the post after this one is a random pic and a short blurb then it worked! hooray or boo (whichever the case may be)!

but not for long, as i have recently got into a fight with the cable company and i refuse to give so much money to a company that has kept me on the phone for more than 4 hours over the course of the last month and still insists on overcharging me and making me hold “just a bit longer”. shame on you RCN. i am making it my goal over the course of the next month or two to shame the company and post as many negative reviews online. for good measure i plan on adding in a complaint to the BBB and a nasty letter to the company. i don’t think i’ve ever been this mad with a company, not even after the vonage debacle of 2006 was i this upset.
so i’ll once again be without cable & internet sometime this week when they disconnect. i haven’t devised a contingency plan yet so who knows what will happen. i might have to cave and sign up with comcast although their costs are just insane. i’m dreading life without the internet at home again and i’m fearful that my absence could be even longer this time. yeah, the whole situation pretty much blows.
such is life. until i don’t know when.

i would update this thing if safari 3.0 actually worked with the stupid software correctly.
and since i’m too lazy to boot up parallels desktop w/ windows xp, i guess you won’t get to see me in my new glasses or hear about my new, wonderful apartment, or learn about my trip to dallas the weekend before last, or even learn about how i somehow got accepted into graduate school and am 75% sure i’m going to begin working on my master’s in computer science this fall (while still working full-time of course).
maybe you will get to experience all this and more tomorrow (or even later this evening) when i motivate myself enough to click on the parallels icon and start up windows xp.
