Faith Hill & Tim McGraw concert
So last night I got to see them in concert (thank you MTV networks for the second most amazing concert in as many weeks). AMAZING. They put on such an amazing show, one of the best I have seen. Plus we had amazing seats (5th row from center stage, 1 seat away from one of the side stages).

So much walking
Blane didn’t think about the fact that there was no chance in hell that we would find a cab home at the marina. We had to walk quite a ways away but we got to stroll by the field museum in museum campus.

2007: a book odyssey
Last night I discovered that there are two more books that come after 2001: a space odyssey & 2010: the year we make contact. There’s also 2061: odyssey 3 and 3001: the final odyssey. I bought all 4 books last night and I can’t wait to read them all. that should hold me over until I get my new harry potter book next week. •Sent from my iPhone•.

Iron burn
A long time ago I burnt these pair of pants with my iron, which was fine because I had a duplicate pair. I thought I had hidden them so I would never accidently wear them but somehow they got mixed into my good clothes and I just realized that I am wearing them today. Hopefully nobody notices.

I must say that I’m not sure why I suddenly decided to have a revival of this site. Having my BlackBerry, and now my iPhone has helped fill in the void of not posting on a frequent basis. I’ve refreshed the style and layout a bit to give it a new look.
Speaking of my iPhone … I must say that it’s great little gadget. I think it is hands down the best first generation electronic device that has ever been released. There’s lots of room for improvement but if this is a sign of what is to come, I’m very pleased.
Other than that everything hasn’t been terribly exciting. It has, however, been incredibly stressful. There’s so much going on and so much is changing that it’s been a bit of an adjustment. New apartment, new relationship, getting ready to start grad school, lots of stuff going on at work … It’s all just a bit overwhelming. After I’ve adjusted I’m sure things will be better and less stressful for me.
And now I’m off to bed.

You probably can’t tell but that is The Police on stage performing. We were sitting in the first row of the stadium seats but it still felt like we were so far away. They really were good seats though.
